Huasun Listed as Tier 1 PV Module Maker for 4Q 2023 by BloombergNEF

2023.11.23

On November 22, BloombergNEF unveiled its Tier 1 PV Module Maker List for 4Q 2023, with Huasun Energy securing its position for the entire year since the first quarter. This recognition is attributable to the company's outstanding product performance, strong brand credibility, and robust financing capability.

Huasun currently has an annual module capacity of 20GW, solidifying its status as the world's largest heterojunction manufacturer. This impressive capacity growth is driven by strategic allocation in four large-scale production bases located in Xuancheng, Hefei, Wuxi, and Dali across China, with a projected total capacity of 40GW by the end of 2025.

As the only HJT photovoltaic company on the list by virtue of full HJT projects, Huasun has independently developed HJT 3.0 technology and successfully integrated it into large-scale production. Notably, the champion efficiency in mass production of HJT cells has surpassed 26.2% in Huasun’s Xuancheng Phase 4 Cell Project. Furthermore, the Himalaya G12 series modules, based on HJT 3.0 cells, have achieved a remarkable power output of 750.544W with a conversion efficiency of 24.16%, further solidifying the company's position as an industry leader.

During the rigorous evaluation process, BloombergNEF referenced testing data certified by PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), which confirmed Huasun's Himalaya G12-132 modules as "PVEL Top Performers" due to their exceptional product reliability and power generation performance.

All listed projects utilize Himalaya series HJT modules, which have been successfully deployed in various markets including Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and Tunisia, with a total of 3GW Huasun HJT products shipped to end users worldwide. In line with its commitment to the zero-carbon goal, the lifecycle carbon footprint of the G10-144 module is a mere 366.12g/W CO₂ equivalent, marking a significant milestone in achieving a carbon footprint lower than 400g/W CO₂ equivalent for a photovoltaic module.

Leveraging its cutting-edge n-type heterojunction HJT solar technology, Huasun is poised to continue adapting to market trends, meeting customer demands, and driving the widespread adoption of high-efficiency HJT products to establish solar energy as a primary energy source.
