Huasun Energy on November 25th launched its new Himalaya 760 HV heterojunction (HJT) solar module, featuring 760 W nominal output, 24.5% conversion efficiency, and an industry-first 2000 V system voltage rating, marking a major step in high-power module commercialization.

The launch event brought together senior management, technical experts, and industry partners. Chairman Xu Xiaohua stated that the photovoltaic industry is entering a new stage where system-level cost reduction and lifecycle value have become the core drivers of competitiveness. The 760 W module is designed specifically for large utility-scale and desert-based projects, where high output power and high-voltage operation deliver maximum economic benefits.
2000V System Voltage Delivers Verified System-Level Gains
By upgrading system voltage from the industry-standard 1500V to 2000V, the Himalaya 760 HV opens new optimization space at the power plant level. In a 100 MVA utility project in Hami, Xinjiang, simulation results show that compared with a 1500V system, the 2000V configuration:
· Reduces BOS costs by approximately RMB 0.1157/W
· Cuts foundation pile demand by more than 5,000 units
· Significantly improves land-use efficiency

Further comparative analysis shows that an HJT 760W (2000V) system versus a TOPCon 725W (1500V) system delivers:
· BOS cost reduction of RMB 0.1521/W
· BOS savings of approximately 11.95%
· Project IRR increase of 0.86 percentage points
These system-level gains translate directly into materially higher investment returns for large utility-scale solar projects.
Advanced Module Design for High Efficiency and Reliable Mass Production

The Himalaya 760 HV integrates multiple advanced manufacturing and structural upgrades, including:
· 132 half-cell dual-string architecture
· Large-size silicon wafers
· Negative spacing design and high screen coverage
· Active area ratio of 95.8%
· Power gain of approximately 20W and efficiency improvement of 0.66%
To ensure safety under ultra-high voltage operation, the module adopts an innovative butyl edge-sealing process, delivering enhanced insulation without compromising efficiency or active area utilization. Now, the module is fully compatible with existing high-efficiency production lines and requires only minor stringer adjustments, enabling rapid scale-up with high yield and manufacturing stability.
Commercial Orders Secured at Launch

At the event, the 760 W module secured initial commercial supply agreements with partners including Anhui Guoding Construction and Abdullah Reabi Company, confirming strong market demand at launch and readiness for large-scale deployment.
A New Platform for the Next Stage of Utility-Scale Solar
With the combination of 760 W ultra-high power, 24.5% efficiency, and 2000 V system voltage, the Himalaya 760 HV establishes a new benchmark for next-generation utility PV systems. The platform delivers measurable gains in BOS cost, project internal rate of return, and lifecycle energy yield.

“760 W is not an endpoint, but a new starting point,” Chairman Xu stated at the launch. “This platform will continue to evolve toward higher power, higher efficiency, and higher value, supporting the long-term transformation of global clean energy.”
