Situated in Yunzhong Industrial Park, just 50 kilometers from the capital city of Hanoi, the rooftop solar power project was built by CNTIC, a subsidiary of China General Technology (Group) Holding Co Ltd (GENERTEC). Construction commenced on August 31, 2023, showcasing the commitment to green and sustainable development by Luxshare Precision Industry Co. Ltd. (Luxshare-ICT), a renowned supplier in the global consumer electronics, automotive, and communication industries. Luxshare-ICT has previously implemented large-scale rooftop solar projects within its production facilities to meet its electricity requirements.

Vietnam offers exceptional solar resources, and the selection of Huasun's Himalaya G12-132 high-efficiency HJT solar modules further enhances the project's capabilities. These modules possess outstanding features such as high efficiency, power output, bifaciality, reliability, and low temperature coefficient. The double-glass structure, light conversion film (LCF), and PIB encapsulation technology integrated into the modules provide superior water and ultraviolet (UV) resistance, ensuring long-lasting environmental and economic benefits throughout the project's lifecycle.

Upon full operation, the Luxshare Precision Rooftop Solar Power Project will generate approximately 21 million kWh of clean electricity annually, contributing to a reduction of nearly 20,000 tons of carbon emissions and saving almost 6,800 tons of standard coal. Furthermore, the project is projected to generate approximately $5.5 million in tax revenue throughout its lifecycle, bolstering the company's product exports and providing carbon tax relief. Significantly, the project addresses the power shortage in northern Vietnam, promoting sustainable economic growth and aligning with the nation's ambitious "zero-carbon" goal.
