In the June 2025 edition of TaiyangNews Top Solar Modules listing, Huasun Energy set a new benchmark with its Himalaya G12-132 heterojunction (HJT) module, delivering 730 W of power and 23.5% conversion efficiency. This outstanding performance secured Huasun the top spot on the global ranking and established its module as the highest-power product on the list—significantly surpassing the second-ranked 715 W module.
Published monthly since 2022, the TaiyangNews listing is recognized for its rigorous evaluation criteria and has become a key industry reference. It focuses exclusively on modules that are in mass production and have been delivered to end customers, providing the global market with transparent and credible benchmarks to drive technological progress and healthy competition in the PV sector.
Compared to the previous edition, Huasun’s featured module has shown remarkable improvements in both power and efficiency. This leap underscores the immense potential of HJT technology for mass production and highlights Huasun’s capabilities in scaling production, process control, and reliable product delivery. Looking ahead, Huasun plans to begin mass production and delivery of 760 W modules by the end of 2025.
Beyond its impressive efficiency, the Himalaya G12-132 HJT module’s 730 W+ high output significantly reduces the number of modules, mounting systems, cables, and land area needed for utility-scale projects. This translates into lower BOS (Balance of System) costs and reduced LCOE (Levelized Cost of Electricity), offering greater economic value for solar investments. The module is now in stable mass production and being shipped to customers across China, South Korea, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Pakistan, and other regions—playing a key role in driving efficient solar deployment worldwide.
During the recent SNEC PV Expo 2025 in Shanghai, TaiyangNews presented Huasun with the Top Solar Modules 2024 Badge of Excellence. This marks the second consecutive year Huasun has received the honor, reaffirming the strong market performance, technical strength, and competitiveness of its Himalaya HJT modules.
