On June 4, Kiwa PV Evolution Labs (Kiwa PVEL), a leading independent reliability testing lab for PV modules, released the 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard. The Himalaya G12-132 and Everest series HJT modules of Huasun Energy were honored as Top Performers for the third consecutive year. This accolade not only underscores the exceptional reliability and performance of Huasun’s heterojunction (HJT) products, but also reaffirms its leading position in PV technology and manufacturing.
As a globally recognized third-party lab for PV module reliability and performance testing, Kiwa PVEL has earned widespread trust over the past decade through the Product Qualification Program (PQP), known for its rigorous procedures and quantifiable metrics. The PQP evaluates modules across seven critical dimensions: Thermal Cycling (TC), Damp Heat (DH), Mechanical Stress Sequence (MSS), Hail Stress Sequence (HSS), Potential-Induced Degradation (PID), Light-Induced + Light and Elevated Temperature-Induced Degradation (LID + LETID), and PAN file performance. This comprehensive evaluation process has become a benchmark in the industry for assessing long-term module reliability and performance under diverse environmental conditions.
These tests simulate extreme conditions far beyond standard industry requirements, making the PQP the gold standard for developers and investors when selecting reliable and durable PV modules.
In this year’s testing cycle, Huasun G12 and G12R series modules underwent multiple rigorous assessments, including thermal cycling and LETID testing, and demonstrated minimal power degradation. Over the six-month testing period, Huasun’s HJT modules exhibited outstanding stability, providing strong assurance of long-term reliability for PV power plants. As one of the few HJT manufacturers to receive this recognition in 2025, Huasun once again validated the high efficiency and robust performance of its products in complex operating environments.
With ultra-high bifaciality and excellent temperature coefficients, Huasun’s HJT modules deliver exceptional energy yield and ensure stable, long-term returns for PV projects across various application scenarios. Leveraging an advanced encapsulation solution— "light conversion film + PIB + dual glass" —the modules effectively resist UV-induced degradation and enhance moisture resistance, guaranteeing ≤1% first-year degradation and ≥90.3% power output retention over 30 years. This provides a solid foundation for the stable operation of PV power plants.
At Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich, Tristan Erion-Lorico, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kiwa PVEL, visited Huasun’s booth to present the "Top Performer 2025" trophies and certificates for the Himalaya G12-132 and Everest series modules, further affirming Huasun’s global leadership in HJT technology.
From receiving its first recognition in 2023 to achieving three consecutive wins by 2025, Huasun has evolved from an HJT technology pioneer to a reliability leader in just three years. While striving for breakthroughs in conversion efficiency, Huasun will also enhance product reliability through continuous material innovation and process optimization, offering solid technical support and dependable solutions for the global energy transition, and driving the PV industry toward a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable future.
