Introduction:
The Eugendorf agrivoltaic plant is Salzburg's largest vertical agrivoltaic plant and was commissioned by Salzburg AG at the beginning of 2024. It has a total output of 2.2 MWp and covers an area of 6 hectares. The plant generates 2600 MWh of electricity per year, which covers the needs of 650 households. The area is still used as grassland and optimizes the synergy between agricultural use and electricity generation.
