Recently, the Reliability Testing Laboratory of Anhui Huasun Energy Co., Ltd. successfully passed the reassessment audit conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), thereby renewing its CNAS accreditation. This achievement represents another authoritative recognition of the laboratory’s technical competence, management system, and service capability, further reinforcing Huasun Energy’s solid quality foundation as it advances in the field of high-efficiency photovoltaics.

Looking back, Huasun Energy’s Reliability Testing Laboratory was first awarded CNAS accreditation on December 7, 2023, officially joining the ranks of laboratories with internationally recognized credibility. The latest reassessment was a comprehensive capability verification carried out by CNAS in accordance with updated accreditation rules—essentially a full “health check.” It covered all accredited testing items, the operation of the management system, technical resource assurance, process quality control, and other core dimensions, with a particular focus on evaluating the laboratory’s stability and continuous improvement over the past two years.

Following rigorous document reviews and on-site assessments, the expert panel unanimously affirmed the laboratory’s overall capabilities. The successful reassessment confirms that Huasun’s testing technologies and management standards continue to meet international benchmarks, providing robust support for the company’s product quality assurance.

As a leading player in high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) technology within the photovoltaic industry, Huasun Energy has always placed “reliability” at the core of product development and mass production. The reliability testing laboratory, covering an area of 2,000 square meters with a total investment exceeding RMB 15 million, is equipped with advanced facilities such as transient and steady-state solar simulators, mechanical load testing systems, and a wide range of environmental test chambers. It is capable of independently conducting dozens of reliability tests for heterojunction products. From extreme temperature simulations ranging from –40°C to 85°C, to thousands of hours of light-soaking, humidity cycling, and other stringent aging tests, every photovoltaic module must undergo intensive testing here to ensure long-term stable performance under diverse and complex operating conditions.

CNAS accreditation is a national-level recognition with high authority. Its evaluation criteria are fully aligned with those of Europe and other developed regions. Accreditation means that test reports issued by the laboratory are mutually recognized by more than 100 economies worldwide, conferring strong international credibility. The successful reassessment not only acknowledges the laboratory’s past achievements, but also underscores Huasun’s ongoing commitment to technological innovation and quality control. Backed by the laboratory’s strong technical support, Huasun has achieved a series of record-breaking milestones in heterojunction and perovskite-silicon tandem cell technologies in recent years, including a third-party certified efficiency of 34.28% for small-area cells and 30% for large-area, production-line-scale cells—accelerating the transition of high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies from laboratory research to large-scale manufacturing.
From initial accreditation to successful reassessment, and from technological breakthroughs to deep-rooted quality excellence, Huasun Energy has consistently built its growth on rigorous standards. This reassessment marks not only a renewed validation of the laboratory’s capabilities, but also a new starting point in the company’s pursuit of its vision to “make photovoltaics truly the primary energy source.” Looking ahead, Huasun’s Reliability Testing Laboratory will continue to uphold the principles of “customer-first” and “quality-above-all,” strictly adhering to IEC international standards and CNAS accreditation requirements. By continuously enhancing its testing capabilities and technological innovation, the laboratory will provide more comprehensive quality assurance for the R&D iteration and commercialization of Huasun’s heterojunction products and tandem cell technologies, while empowering industry standardization through authoritative testing and working with global partners to build a high-efficiency, green energy future.
